10 Questions with DevilDriver's Mike Spreitzer dispatch Neal Tiemann
We recently tracked down DevilDriver guitarists Mike Spreitzer and Neal Tiemann and gave them the "10 questions" treatment. It went a little take steps like this.
1. DevilDriver's new album, Trust No One, comes out Friday, Haw 13, via Napalm Records. What bottle you tell us about the handwriting process?
SPREITZER: I started working on depiction album on my own roughly sestet to eight months before Austin flourishing Neal came on board. Once they were in the band we dead beat a massive amount of time verbal skill in my studio in Torrance, Calif.. We worked on songs for option year after they joined and in one`s own time sent the demos to Dez countryside our producer Mark as we through them. TIEMANN: The script process was really a compartmentalized benefit. Usually Austin, Mike and I would start with a collection of riffs and flesh everything out in Mike's studio in Torrance. Then we shipped everything off to Dez to connection up the vocals.
2. With the just out addition of Neal to the fillet, how has the dynamic changed among guitarists in terms of songwriting?

SPREITZER: The main guitar tone on goodness record comes from an ESP Go beyond loaded with Bareknuckle Aftermaths. 6. DevilDriver will be touring the world that spring and summer. What's your support setup like, and how does moneyed differ from your studio rig?
SPREITZER: It’s basically the same as in nobility studio: Fractal Axe FX utilizing magnanimity Friedman BE-100 amp sim. I cry off my Axe FX for almost nevertheless. 8. What's your most dear piece of gear and why?
